“I feel above me the day blind stars…for a time I rest in the grace of the world, and am free.”

Rewilded Retreats

We believe in the power of nature combined with counselling to restore and transform.

Our Rewilded Retreats encourage people to walk into the wild with us, both in terms of getting out into nature physically but also by creating this time and space for yourself or your team. In this fast paced world that we now live in, that in itself is a pretty wild thing to do but we believe it’s also vital for individual and organisational health and well-being.

Rewilding as a concept tends to look at an area of land to seek to restore, protect and re-introduce key species to encourage it to thrive and return to it's original, natural form. We'll be using the concept of Rewilding to form the therapeutic framework for these retreats considering themes around paying attention, loss, restoration, protection and flourishing.

You host for these retreats will be Ellie.

Ellie is an experienced Integrative Counsellor who will be leading on the therapeutic content and experiential learning. The retreat will include walking, breath work, practicing stillness and being present to both ourselves and to nature. We’ll create some space for journalling and self reflection as well as space to connect with others in smaller groups.

Rewilded Retreats take place in nature, mostly on lower level walks. There will be an option to go for a wild swim or dip in a river or the sea (this is optional), there will be time for silence and solitude, for self reflection as well as time to connect and share with others in the group. We’ll round off the retreat with a hot drink and something to eat together.

For Rewilded Retreats in the mountains we will be guided by an experienced Mountain Leader, who will guide us safely in the mountains.

Mountain Days

We offer Mountain Days where you will be guided by a professional Mountain Leader. The ‘therapy’ is a small ‘t’ on these days.

It’s simply about getting out and exploring the amazing mountains together.

We organise regular open Mountain Days throughout the year which anyone with a reasonable level of fitness is welcome to book onto.
